A snapped serpentine belt or a burst radiator hose will strand you, usually at the worst possible time. We inspect your belts and hoses for cracking, glazing, and soft spots and replace them before they fail.
Heat and age make rubber brittle, and Florida gives belts and hoses a hard life. During most visits we give them a quick look, and a dedicated inspection checks the serpentine belt, timing belt where applicable, and every coolant and vacuum hose for wear.
Replacing a worn belt or hose on your schedule is far less hassle than a roadside breakdown and tow, plus the engine damage an overheat can cause. If we spot one starting to go, we'll show you and let you decide.
