- How often does a diesel need an oil change?
- It depends on the truck and how you use it, but diesels take a different oil and filter than a gas engine and often run longer intervals. Towing and heavy work shorten that. We use the diesel-spec oil your engine calls for and reset your interval so you know when you're due back.
- My DPF or emissions light is on. Can you help?
- Yes. The modern diesel emissions systems, the DPF, DEF, and EGR, are the most common reason a diesel throws a light. We diagnose whether it's a sensor, a failed regeneration, or a component that needs replacing, then give you an upfront price before any work starts.
- Do you have a diesel mechanic, or does the work get sent out?
- Our own techs do the diesel work, in our bays on University Parkway between SRQ airport and I-75. Your truck stays with us instead of getting hauled across town to somebody else's shop.
